Paititi Institute

“The Paititi Institute for the Preservation of Ecology and Indigenous Culture is a nonprofit organization devoted to the integration of indigenous wisdom into every day life. We serve as an intercultural bridge supporting individuals and communities to live as activated, responsible and joyful human beings in harmony with both inner and outer landscapes.”

I have been learning and growing with this beautiful community for the past few years and have had the privilege to spend some time at their 4000 acre sanctuary in the Peruvian Andes. My time with them has been heart-opening and transformative, and some of my most treasured experiences.

Earlier this year, the founders of this organization, were unable to return to Peru when global borders closed. So they hunkered down in Mexico, and while staying there, they gave birth to their second child, offered many virtual classes and workshops, and raised money to organized food drops for local families and villages surrounding their center in Peru. They have also recently started a new initiative to raise money to help indigenous elders pay for medical bills.

I am continually impressed by the integrity and the heart of this organization, and am honored to be able to support them through this project.

Check out their website or facebook page to see what they’re all about, and please make an additional donation directly to them if you feel inspired to.
